Today as the florist carried a few vases full of flowers into work, a woman turned to me and asked if I thought any of those were for me. I turned to her and said, "Nah." "Yeah, me neither," she replied. The truth is, I've never really been a flowers kind of girl, but I am looking forward to that spring jacket that's going to show up on my doorstep in a few days. Don't get me wrong, Valentine's Day has definitely grown on me over the course of the past few years-- really, who doesn't want a little festive decor to brighten an otherwise dreary February day?
