Liam's had a few problems with winter attire: a) he HATES it, b) he went through a growth spurt just before Christmas, and c) his mom is terrible at shopping for little boys. Seriously, the poor kid could barely move in his puffer jacket, and his snow boots were forever coming untied (and were too small). Enter our local consignment store, where we had $19 in store credit (almost as good as $20 in our pockets). We were able to pick up a pair of Velcro snow boots and a jacket at no cost to us.

| i have yet to convince him that mittens are also a winter necessity |
Oh, and Earl, the big din-saur, we scored him for free since they were having a buy two get one free sale.
And of course, I should also mention the
Mackelmore-related items that we didn't pick up. First, who doesn't need an American Idol keyboard?
The reason we didn't have to purchase this telescope is because three years ago Craig insisted that I buy him a telescope for Christmas. It is still in our attic in its original packaging.
Linking up with
Young House Love. Who doesn't love a good thrift store scavenger hunt?
Haha- Zane is the same way with winter attire! Look at him though- he is getting so big!
